What To Do?

Updated: Apr 27

You're in the midst of a spiritual awakening. You are starting to see the world not as you've been led to believe it is but how it actually is. You no longer hold with the way things have always been. You are changing it up on a personal level and it feels good!

But, what about the folks in your life who are not on the same path, who continue to live in the world you are now rethinking, even rejecting? You are a compassionate person and you want to be respectful of the strong bonds you've created over the years. And yet, it feels like you're being tethered past beliefs that no longer serve your personal/spiritual growth.

What to do?

There is no pat answer for that because you and those around you are unique but how about this? Recognize that your loved ones are on their own path and that they may never join you on yours. Does this mean they are no longer relevant to your journey? Not at all. Some relationships will drop away but others will hold their value. Instead of eliminating, think of adding. Find new people who are also questioning and exploring. Find guidance and validation through those who are on a similar path.
